LEXINGTON, Ky. (Ticker) -- Kentucky basketball coach Tubby Smith on Sunday suspended sophomore guards Gerald Fitch and Cory Sears one game for "behavior detrimental to the team."

Fitch and Sears will be on the sidelines when the ninth-ranked Wildcats host Tennessee on Tuesday.

A starter, Fitch is fourth on the club in scoring, averaging 9.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 24 games. He scored a season-high 17 points in Saturday's 78-69 loss at No. 22 Georgia.

Sears has hardly seen any action this season, scoring just six points in eight games.
