BATON ROUGE, La. (AP) -- Just two days after ex-player Tony Cole accused the University of Georgia basketball program of violating NCAA rules, he told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he used the personal credit card of head coach Jim Harrick to buy a 28-inch color television from Circuit City.

Cole also said Mike Young, a Georgia basketball booster, gave him as much as $900 in cash over the last few years, and that other current Georgia basketball players have received improper benefits from Young and others.

Cole's initial allegations last week involved the head coach's son, Jim Harrick Jr., committing academic fraud for Cole and paying players' phone and hotel bills. Now, Cole said Harrick Sr. was involved as well.

Cole played 16 games with the Bulldogs last season, but he was kicked off the team after being charged with aggravated assault with intent to rape. The charge was later dismissed.

Harrick has not commented extensively about the allegations, but said he is confident that there are clear answers to Cole's accusations.
