Brick Oettinger joins CNNSI.com
CNNSI.com is pleased to announce that Brick Oettinger, a basketball talent evaluator for nearly three decades, has joined CNNSI.com as its official recruiting expert.

Brick will contribute a weekly column to CNNSI.com during the July recruiting period and during the season, and occasional offseason columns as well. In addition to providing breaking news on the latest commitments, CNNSI.com later this summer will unveil a searchable database of over 300 top prospects updated throughout the recruiting process.

A Chapel Hill, N.C., native, Brick Oettinger has been a talent evaluator for the Prep Stars Recruiter's Handbook since 1990 and recruiting columnist for the ACC Area Sports Journal since 1977. He also provides recruiting content for the Blue Ribbon Basketball Yearbook and serves on the McDonald's All-American Game advisory committee.

In joining Brick with SuperPrep's Allen Wallace, official football recruiting expert since last fall, CNNSI.com is able to offer fans comprehensive recruiting coverage from the two most established names in their fields.
