Daley has won every award given out by Conference USA, including 2000 Conference USA Player of the Year. "Grace is without a doubt on the best players in the nation," says Tulane coach Lisa Stockton. "I don't know of too many players who have accomplished what Grace has accomplished on both ends of the floor. She has been Conference USA's Player of the Year and led the conference in scoring and has been the league's Defensive Player of the Year. She definitely has the ability to change a game with both her offense and her defense." Ranked eighth nationally in scoring at 21.3 points per game. Selected to the Conference USA All-Tournament team after helping the Green Wave to its second consecutive team title and third in four seasons. Named third team All-America by the Associated Press. Against No. 11 LSU (12/31/99) Daley had 31 points, nine rebounds, four assists, one turnover, one block, four steals and five three-pointers. She scored 20 points in the deciding second half (LSU led 36-32 at the break). She played 37 total minutes and helped snap LSU's 10-game winning streak.
