The NCAA selection committee once again practiced reverse discrimination and sent the top three male-coached teams to the same region. (This way it's pretty much guaranteed that the Final Four will have at least
three female coaches.) So top-ranked Connecticut's Geno Auriemma, fourth-ranked Georgia's Andy Landers and sixth-ranked Louisiana Tech's Leon Barmore will have to battle it out just to get to the Final Four. Purdue,
Notre Dame and Duke will have much easier roads.

There's still a sizable gap between the best teams in the country and all the rest, so expect few upsets. Penn State looks the most likely to lose early after an inconsistent season.

Duke . Georgia has fire and then more fire in the Miller twins. Duke has fire in freshman Alana Beard, but also a steady leadership presence in Georgia Schweitzer. A well-coached Duke team will defeat a weary Georgia
squad, as Andy Landers falls short of his first national title once again.
