Jackie who?

Purdue stifles Stiles to advance to title game

The inspirational run of Jackie Stiles, who attracted fans across the country to the Southwest Missouri State bandwagon, ended Friday when the Lady Bears fell to Purdue 81-64 in the Final Four. The Boilermakers played stifling defense on Stiles and dominated the boards. Senior All-America Katie Douglas led 1999 national champion Purdue with 25 points, as the Boilermakers advanced to the title game.
