Getting Revenge: In 1990, Virginia tripped Tennessee 79-75 in overtime in the East Regional final, preventing the Lady Vols from defending their 1989 title in Knoxville. Record-setter: California State Fullerton's Genia Miller tied Terry Carmichael's record for field-goal percentage (100 percent) in a tournament game. Miller went 10 for 10 against Louisiana Tech.
