Imagine what Georgia Schweitzer could do if she were healthy for a full season. Last year's ACC Player of the Year, has endured more than her fair share of bumps and bruises in her three years in Durham - but she's played through them all.
Last season, she played through a fractured ankle for the last two weeks of the regular season and NCAA Tournament. As a sophomore, it was a separated shoulder. As a freshman, she underwent an emergency appendectomy prior to the NCAA tourney.
Still, she's been a model for consistency for the Blue Devils, leading the team in scoring, minutes, assists and 3-point shooting. She helped Duke to its first ACC tourney title a year ago and was a part of the Devils' run to the national title game in 1999.
With four starters back, Duke is a near-unanimous pick to win the ACC and could make some more noise on the national scene.
