With 15 players on their preseason roster, the Lady Vols have their biggest squad in 17 years, and the player who should benefit the most is Tamika Catchings. Tennessee's added depth means that Catchings -- last year's Naismith National Player of the Year -- can play her natural small forward position full-time.
Catchings' scoring average dipped last season while playing more inside at power forward. With more bodies in Knoxville, the Lady Vols are ready to set Catchings free to roam around and utilize her athleticism.
