Semeka Randall burst onto the college scene three years ago and helped the Lady Vols win a national title. Whether she can bookend her collegiate career with another one may depend on how well the senior can emerge as a leader on a veteran Tennessee squad.
Randall sets the tone with her defense and is considered an energetic inspiration to her teammates. However, head coach Pat Summitt said in the preseason that Randall was more of a leader as a freshman and sophomore than she was as a junior last season.
After working on her outside shooting in the offseason, Randall hopes to add more offense to go along with her defense and emerge as a player the Lady Vols can follow once again.
