One of the best two-guards in the country, Ferdinand does it all for LSU. Last season she led the team in scoring and assists, but may have made a bigger impact on the defensive end of the floor. Repeatedly asked to guard the other team's best player, Ferdinand uses her quickness to frustrate the opposition.
Ferdinand didn't enter the Lady Tigers' starting lineup until her sophomore season, but ever since then she has garnered numerous awards, including first-team all-SEC. She has also been the catalyst in LSU's trips to the 2000 NCAA Elite Eight and 1999 NCAA Sweet Sixteen.
A solid jumper shooter, who likes to use her quickness to drive to the basket, the senior recorded her 1,000th career point in the Lady Tigers' first game this season (vs. New Mexico).
