
NCAA Women's Basketball Tournament Recap

Alli Bills had 16 points, nine assists and six rebounds as
fifth-seeded Utah advanced to the second round of the NCAA
Tournament for the first time in school history with a 66-57
victory over 12th-seeded Iowa State in a West Region game at
Charlottesville, Virginia.
The Utes (25-5) will face fourth-seeded Virginia in the second
round on Sunday.
Lisa Thueson had 15 points and seven rebounds and Julie
Krommenhoek hit four three-pointers and scored 14 points for the
Utes, who shot 36 percent (20-for-55) from the field.
Jayme Olson recorded 18 points and 11 rebounds for Iowa State,
which was making its first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance. and
finished its season at 17-12. Janel Grimm added 14 points and
Tara Gunderson 12 for the Cyclones, who shot just 35 percent
(19-for-54).
