DURHAM, North Carolina (Ticker) -- Freshman Rometra Craig scored 19 points and Alana Beard had 14, six assists and five steals as No. 4 Duke cruised to an 81-46 victory over William & Mary.

Craig, daughter of former NFL running back Roger Craig and the California player of the year last season, hit 8-of-13 from the field, including 3-of-7 from 3-point range.

Missy West added 13 points and had six steals for the Blue Devils (3-0), who had 23 overall as Duke forced 32 turnovers.

"We want to be a team that's really tough," West said. "One of our main goals is to dive for all the loose balls, get all the loose balls, make all the hustle plays." Kelly Ercole was the only player for William & Mary (0-1) to reach double figures, scoring 12 points. Starting guard Jen Sobota committed 12 turnovers, though she did dish out six assists and made three steals.

Duke improved to 50-4 in home non-conference games in nine years under coach Gail Goestenkors.

Freshman Iciss Tillis, daughter of former boxer James "Quick" Tillis, added nine points, five rebounds and three steals for Duke.
