FAIRFAX, Virginia (Ticker) -- Sophomore guard Sheana Moss scored all 11 of her points in the second half, helping third-ranked Duke pull away for an 88-68 victory over George Mason.

Georgia Schweitzer scored 11 of her 17 after the break and Alana Beard finished with 20 for Duke (9-0), which trailed 39-38 at halftime but shot 57 percent (17-of-30) and outrebounded the Patriots 19-9 in the second half.

Jen Surlas scored a season-high 27 points for George Mason (5-1), but had only six when Duke took charge of the game.

The Blue Devils opened the second half with a 16-2 run, taking a 54-41 lead on Schweitzer's layup with 15:32 left. The Patriots' only points in that stretch came on Vernessa Neamo's jumper 36 seconds into the half, which game them their last lead.

Rochelle Parent scored six of her eight points in the decisive run and Beard had three of her four steals to help keep the Patriots off the board.

George Mason did not get closer than eight points the rest of the way and Duke built its lead to as much as 26 points.
