RUSTON, Louisiana (Ticker) -- Gwen Jackson and Ashley Robinson scored 14 points apiece, leading No. 2 Tennessee to a 70-62 victory over 10th-ranked Louisiana Tech.

The Lady Vols (7-0) overcame a 26-point performance by Louisiana Tech forward Ayana Walker to snap the Lady Techsters' 30-game home winning streak.

Takeisha Lewis added 19 points and eight rebounds for the Lady Techsters (7-3), who lost for the second time in three games.

Kara Lawson, who finished with 11 points, gave the Lady Vols their largest lead when she grabbed the ball after a block by Robinson and went the length of the court for a layup that made it 62-50.

Tennessee held on, despite shooting just 30 percent (10-of-33) in the second half and 41 percent (28-of-69) for the game. But the Lady Vols controlled the boards, 50-39.

Louisiana Tech shot just 36 percent (24-of-67), although Walker and Lewis were a combined 18-of-34 from the field.
