WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana (Ticker) -- Camille Cooper scored 29 points and four other players reached double figures as No. 8 Purdue posted an 80-67 triumph over DePaul.

Cooper hit 11 of her 13 shots from the field and led a second-half surge as Purdue (10-3) broke open a tight game at the half.

Katie Douglas scored 13 points, Shereka Wright added 11 and Erika Valek and Shalicia Hurns added 10 apiece as the Boilermakers secured their seventh victory in their last nine contests.

Purdue hit 25 free throws, 15 more than DePaul (5-4) attempted.

The Blue Demons were led by Candis Blankson, who scored 15 points and Jamie Lewis, who scored 12. However, the Blue Demons were done in by 25 turnovers, compared to just 12 by Purdue.

The loss by DePaul snapped a modest four-game winning streak for the Blue Demons, who had not lost since suffering an 81-65 setback at Iowa State on December 2.
