WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana (Ticker) -- Camille Cooper scored 15 points to lead sixth-ranked Purdue to its fifth straight win, 73-58 over cold-shooting Iowa in a Big Ten Conference matchup. Cooper made 6-of-12 shots from the field, blocked four shots and pulled down six rebounds for the Boilermakers (13-3, 3-0 Big Ten), who protected a 36-26 halftime lead by shooting nearly 53 percent (30-of-57). Erika Valek added 11 points and Shalicia Hurns had 10 off the bench on 4-of-6 shooting for Purdue. Randi Peterson led all scorers with 19 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Iowa (6-7, 1-2), which has lost five of its last seven games. The Hawkeyes also got 11 points from Lindsey Meder and 10 and nine assists from Cara Consuegra. But they shot just 34 percent (22-of-64).
