WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- The trio of Lindsey Davidson, Petra Dubovcova and Ugo Oha was nearly unstoppable as hot-shooting George Washington surprised No. 20 Xavier, 88-74, in an Atlantic 10 Conference contest. Davidson scored 26 points on 11-of-12 shooting, including 4-of-4 from 3-point range. Dubovcova added 20 points on 9-of-13 shooting and Oha was 7-of-10 from the field for 16 points. The three players were a combined 27-of-35, helping George Washington (8-5, 2-0 A-10) shoot 58 percent (37-of-63) overall. Xavier (10-2, 1-1), which used just six players, shot 53 percent but could not contain the Colonials. George Washington built a 44-31 halftime lead and traded baskets in the second half. Taru Tuukkanen scored 21 points on 8-of-11 shooting for Xavier while Nicole Levandusky added 15 and Jennifer Phillips 14. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Lady Musketeers.
