COLLEGE PARK, Maryland (Ticker) -- Alana Beard scored 10 of her 33 points during a decisive second-half run as fifth-ranked Duke won its sixth straight game, 75-64 over Maryland in an Atlantic Coast Conference matchup.

Maryland was within 31-30 in the opening minute of the second half, but Beard went 5-of-5 from the field during a 20-6 burst that gave Duke a 51-36 lead with 11:26 to play.

The Blue Devils (15-1, 4-1 ACC) led by at least six points the rest of the way, cruising to their second straight road win since a 93-75 setback at conference rival Clemson on December 9.

Beard was 12-of-14 from the field and 9-of-10 from the free-throw line for Duke, which hit 61 percent of its field goals (14-of-23) in the second half and finished at 52 percent (27-of-52).

Deedee Warley had 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Terrapins (10-6, 1-4), who never led en route to their third straight loss. They shot 42 percent (23-of-55) and committed 19 turnovers.
