PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Taru Tuukkanen scored 18 of her 26 points in the second half to lead four players in double figures as No. 22 Xavier rolled to its seventh victory in its last eight contests, 73-63 over Atlantic 10 Conference rival Temple.

Nicole Levandusky had 16 points, Reetta Piipari added 13 and Jennifer Phillips 10 for Xavier (13-2, 4-1 Atlantic 10), which has won six of seven meetings over the Owls since joining the conference in 1995.

The Lady Musketeers trailed 57-56 with 6:11 remaining before Levandusky buried a 3-pointer to put them ahead for good.

Phillips' 10 points marked the 25th straight game which she has scored in double figures.

Lisa Jakubowicz had 15 points and nine rebounds and Stacey Smalls contributed 14 points and seven assists for Temple (10-5, 3-1), which has lost two of its last three games but suffered its first Atlantic 10 defeat this season.

Jennifer Parr chipped in eight points for Xavier, which shot shot 49 percent (26-of-53) from the field, including 7-for-16 (44 percent) from 3-point range.

Ieesha Turnage had 11 points and six rebounds for the Owls, who shot 37 percent (23-of-62) and were outrebounded, 36-33.
