PHILADELPHIA (Ticker) -- Jennifer Phillips scored 22 points to lead four players in double figures as No. 22 Xavier won for the eighth time in its last nine contests, 73-57, over Atlantic 10 Conference rival St. Joseph's.
Phillips has scored in double figures in 26 consecutive games.
Reetta Piipari scored 17 points, Nicole Levandusky added 15 and Taru Tuukanen 13 for Xavier (14-2, 5-1 Atlantic 10), which trailed, 31-28, at halftime.
St. Joseph's led, 50-48, with 8:22 remaining, but the Lady Musketeers went on an 18-5 run to make it 66-55 with 1:26 left. Levandusky scored 10 points during the span.
The Musketeers shot 55 percent (26-of-47) from the field, compared to just 35 percent (22-of-62) for the Hawks.
St. Joseph's (10-8, 4-3) was led by Amra Mehmedic with 15 points and Stephanie Graff and Susan Moran, who each added 10. The Hawks have lost two straight contests and three of their last five.
