NASHVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Michelle Snow put an exclamation point on Tennessee's 13th straight win over Southeastern Conference rival Vanderbilt.
Snow had her second dunk of the season in the final minute and finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds as the third-ranked Lady Vols defeated No. 17 Vanderbilt, 70-64.
A 6-5 junior center, Snow also dunked against Illinois on November 25 in the Maui Invitational. On Tuesday, she drew a technical foul for hanging on the rim.
Semeka Randall led Tennessee (19-1, 7-0 SEC) with 19 points, six rebounds and three steals. Ashley Robinson added 12 points off the bench and Gwen Jackson and Kara Lawson had 10 apiece as the Lady Vols extended their overall winning streak to eight games. They have not lost to the Commodores since the 1995 conference tournament.
Zuzana Klimesova led all scorers with 18 points for Vanderbilt (15-4, 4-2), which has lost two in a row following a nine-game winning streak. Jillian Danker chipped in 15 points and seven rebounds off the bench for the Commodores, who shot 45.5 percent (25-of-55) from the field but committed 19 turnovers.
Tennessee shot nearly 46 percent (31-of-68), making 4-of-8 3-pointers. Vanderbilt was 4-of-20 from behind the arc.
