WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana (Ticker) -- Katie Douglas scored seven of her 24 points in overtime as sixth-ranked Purdue avoided a huge upset with a 75-70 Big Ten Conference victory over Wisconsin.
Douglas' three-point play with 2:57 left in the extra period put Purdue ahead for good, 71-70. She added nine rebounds as the Boilermakers (19-3, 9-0 Big Ten) extended their winning streak to 11 games.
Shereka Wright added 14 points and freshman Shalicia Hurns and Kelli Komara each had 12 for Purdue, which shot under 41 percent (26-of-64) but forced 20 turnovers. The Boilermakers have won the last four meetings and 17 of 20 at home.
Tamara Moore had 19 points to lead Wisconsin (12-7, 6-3), which had a four-game winning streak stopped.
Jessie Stomski chipped in 14 points and 10 rebounds and Latonya Sims also scored 14 points for the Badgers, who erased a five-point deficit in the final 2 1/2 minutes of regulation and forced overtime on Moore's layup with one minute left.
