LINCOLN, Nebraska (Ticker) -- Angie Welle scored 23 points to lead a balanced attack as No. 7 Iowa State won its third straight game, a 92-70 Big 12 Conference victory over Nebraska.
Tracy Gahan and Megan Taylor scored 19 points each and Lindsey Wilson added 17 for the Cyclones (18-2, 8-1 Big 12), who kept pace with Texas Tech atop the league standings.
Taylor and Wilson made five 3-pointers apiece as Iowa State bombed away from the arc. The Cyclones took 36 3-pointers and just 24 shots from inside the circle.
Iowa State shot 50 percent (30-of-60) from the field, including 14-of-36 from the arc, as it won for the ninth time in 10 games. The Cyclones visit Texas Tech in the regular-season finale on February 28.
Nebraska (10-12, 2-7) was not bashful, either, making 10-of-32 shots from 3-point range. The Cornhuskers shot just 34 percent (27-of-80) overall.
Paige Sutton scored 15 points -- all on 3-pointers -- and Casey Leonhardt added 14 for Nebraska, which has lost six of seven.
