GAINESVILLE, Florida (Ticker) -- Gwen Jackson scored 20 points to lead five players in double figures as second-ranked Tennessee pulled away for a 103-73 victory over No. 9 Florida in a Southeastern Conference showdown.
Jackson also grabbed 10 rebounds for Tennessee (25-1, 11-0 SEC), which moved 2 1/2 games ahead of second-place Florida and Georgia in the conference.
Michelle Snow added 19 points and freshman Ashley Robinson had 17 and nine rebounds off the bench for the Lady Vols, who have won the last six meetings with Florida and lead the all-time series, 28-1.
Tennessee led only 41-39 at halftime before outscoring the Lady Gators in the second half, 62-34.
Brandi McCain led Florida (20-3, 8-2) with 18 points and Monique Cardena and Tamara Stocks added 16 apiece. Stocks also pulled down 10 rebounds for the Lady Gators, who shot just 38 percent (24-of-63), committed 22 turnovers and had a seven-game winning streak stopped.
