WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana (Ticker) -- No. 7 Purdue clinched its third outright Big Ten Conference regular-season title in 11 years with a 96-43 rout of Minnesota as Katie Douglas scored 21 points to lead five players in double figures.
Purdue (24-4, 14-1 Big Ten) also has shared the Big Ten crown three times over the same stretch.
Douglas is one of five members of Purdue's senior class, which has compiled a 104-23 record. Iowa's Class of 1990 owns the Big Ten record with 105 wins.
Kelly Komara and freshman reserve Shereka Wright each added 15 points and freshman Shalicia Hurns chipped in 14 and eight rebounds for the Boilermakers. They have won the last 10 meetings with Minnesota (8-17, 1-13), extending their lead in the series to 27-10.
Kadidja Andersson scored 12 points off the bench and Kim Prince had 10 for the Golden Gophers, who have lost eight in a row overall and 15 straight at Purdue.
