AMES, Iowa (Ticker) -- Angie Welle scored 17 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead ninth-ranked Iowa State to its 18th straight home win, an 82-61 Big 12 Conference thumping of Texas A&M.
Welle made 8-of-12 shots from the field and helped Iowa State (22-4, 12-3 Big 12) to a lopsided 52-31 rebounding advantage.
Megan Taylor added 15 points, seven boards and four assists and Lindsey Wilson chipped in 13, six and five for the Cyclones, who are unbeaten in eight all-time meetings with Texas A&M (12-15, 2-14).
Iowa State also got eight points and nine assists from Erica Haugen and shot 47 percent (33-of-70) from the field.
Jaynetta Saunders led all scorers with 29 points but was the only player in double figures for the reeling Aggies, who have lost nine straight and are 0-8 on the road in league play.
Texas A&M shot 37 percent (27-of-73) and went to the line just four times, making three.
