LUBBOCK, Texas (Ticker) -- Jia Perkins scored 21 points and Plenette Pierson added 15 while pulling down 10 rebounds as No. 13 Texas Tech defeated ninth-ranked Iowa State, 68-60, to clinch second place in the Big 12 Conference.

Katrisa O'Neal added 11 points for the Lady Raiders (22-5, 13-3 Big 12), who won for the fourth time in the last five games and shot 50 percent (27-of-54) from the floor.

Texas Tech led, 58-50, late in the second half before Iowa State reeled off a 10-4 run to cut the deficit to 62-60 on a 3-point basket by Lindsey Wilson with 4:03 left.

The Lady Raiders closed the contest with a 6-0 run over the final 3:37, forcing five turnovers during the span.

Wilson scored 16 points and Angie Welle added 14 to lead four players in double figures as Iowa State (22-5, 12-4) lost for the third time in its last five games.

The game was the regular-season finale for both teams.
