MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Semeka Randall scored 16 points to lead five players in double figures as top-ranked Tennessee rolled to an easy 82-52 victory over Alabama in the quarterfinals of the Southeastern Conference tournament.
Kara Lawson scored 13 points, Ashley Robinson added 11 and Michelle Snow and April McDivitt had 10 apiece for Tennessee (29-1), which never trailed.
The Lady Vols started the second half with a 25-9 run to build a 67-41 cushion with 8:11 to play.
Tennessee shot 52 percent (16-of-29), led by Randall, who was 7-of-10.
The victory gives the Lady Vols a 43-11 record in SEC tournament play, since its inception in 1980. They will play the winner of the Vanderbilt-LSU game, which will be played later Friday.
Shondra Johnson scored 19 points for Alabama (18-10), which shot just 36 percent (18-of-49) and committed 23 turnovers. Tennessee had only 11 turnovers.
