KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Ticker) -- Angie Welle scored 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as 10th-ranked Iowa State defeated No. 12 Texas Tech, 73-62, to advance to the championship game of the Big 12 tournament.
Lindsey Wilson scored 15 points, including 11 from the foul line, and Megan Taylor added 10 as Iowa State (24-5) won for the fourth time in its last five games and will face seventh-ranked Oklahoma on Saturday in the title game.
The Cyclones shot 45 percent (23-of-51) from the field and were 23-of-32 from the line. They outrebounded the Lady Raiders, 42-24.
Plenette Pierson scored 13 points and Jia Perkins added 12 for Texas Tech (23-6), which saw its four-game winning streak come to an end.
The Lady Raiders shot 40 percent (23-of-57) and made just 3-of-20 from 3-point range.
