GAINESVILLE, Florida (Ticker) -- Naomi Mobley had 16 points and 20 rebounds as third-seeded Florida rolled to an 84-52 victory over No. 14 Holy Cross in the first round of the West Region at the NCAA Tournament.

Mobley scored six points during a 25-7 spurt early in the first half that enabled Florida (24-5) to build a 27-10 lead 9:21 into the game.

The Gators controlled the low post, holding a 46-26 advantage in points in the paint and a 48-27 rebounding cushion. Florida center Tamara Stocks and forward Monique Cardena combined for 25 points and 10 rebounds.

Vanessa Hayden scored 17 points off the bench and Brandi McCain added 14 for the Gators, who committed 22 turnovers but shot 52 percent (29-of-56) from the field and held the Crusaders to 32 percent (19-of-59).

Katie O'Keefe scored 13 points for Holy Cross (21-9), who shot 26 percent in the first half (8-of-31) and trailed 39-19 at the break.

Florida will host sixth-seeded Washington in the second round.
