CINCINNATI (Ticker) -- Jazmine Wright's jumper with one second to play gave Syracuse a 70-68 victory over No. 25 Cincinnati, which is suddenly slumping.

After K.B. Sharp's two free throws pulled the Lady Bearcats (11-2) into a 68-68 tie with seven seconds left, Wright took a pass from Julie McBride and sank the winning shot.

McBride scored 19 points and Jaime James and Shannon Perry had 15 apiece for the Orangewomen (8-5), who shot 45 percent (26-of-58) from the floor and snapped a two-game losing streak.

Valerie King scored 22 points and Debbie Merrill added 20 and 13 rebounds for Cincinnati, which climbed into the rankings by winning its first 11 games but lost Friday to Louisville.

The Lady Bearcats shot 42 percent (28-of-67) and were beaten on the boards, 39-34.

Merrill's tip-in gave the Lady Bearcats a 61-54 lead with 4:51 remaining before the Orangewomen rattled off seven consecutive points to tie it. Laura Wilder made a 3-pointer to restore a 64-61 lead for Cincinnati with 1:59 to go.

James hit a 3-pointer to tie it, but Merrill answered with a jumper. James made two free throws with 42 seconds left and Perry's layup gave Syracuse a 68-66 lead with 22 seconds to play.

McBride scored 11 points in the first half as the Orangewomen opened a 31-27 lead.
