SYRACUSE, New York (Ticker) -- Diana Taurasi scored 24 points as top-ranked Connecticut remained unbeaten with an 85-55 Big East Conference rout of Syracuse.

Taurasi connected on 7-of-12 shots from the field, including going 4-of-8 from beyond the arc to pace the lone remaining undefeated team in the country.

Swin Cash scored all 17 of her points in the first half for the Huskies (27-0, 13-0), who shot 52 percent (16-of-31) over the first 20 minutes, when they built a 44-33 lead.

Connecticut was even better in the second half, shooting 58 percent (14-of-24) to finish at 54.5 percent (30-of-55) overall.

Julie McBride scored 16 points and Shannon Perry 13 for Syracuse (14-9, 7-5), which shot 35 percent (20-of-57) and committed 18 turnovers.
