CHESTNUT HILL, Massachusetts (Ticker) -- Amber Jacobs had 18 points and six assists and Rachel Byars scored 14 points as 18th-ranked Boston College extended its winning streak to three games with a 73-63 Big East Conference triumph over Syracuse.

Jacobs made just 7-of-17 shots from the floor, including 4-of-12 from 3-point range. Byars picked up the slack by making all six of her shots.

The Golden Eagles limited the Orangewomen to 38 percent (11-of-29) in the first half en route to a 35-23 halftime edge. Boston College (20-5, 11-3 Big East) made 12-of-23 shots and 12-of-13 free throws in the final 20 minutes to hold off Syracuse.

Kim Mackie had 10 points and seven rebounds for the Golden Eagles, who finished the season unbeaten in eight conference games at Conte Forum.

Jazmine Wright scored 18 points and Shannon Perry added 16 points, eight rebounds and five assists as Syracuse (14-11, 7-7) suffered its fourth straight loss.
