- All-time leading scorer in MAC history - passed Ron Harper (Miami, OH) who had 2,377
- Finished second to Eric Murdock (376) in the NCAA career steals list
- Holds BSU records for points, FG's made, FT's made, and is 5th in assists - also recorded the only two triple-doubles in school history
- Will be the first Cardinal selected in first round of draft - there have previously been only two Ball State players drafted - Ray McCallum by Indiana, 8th round in 1983, and Dan Palombizio by Philadelphia, 6th round in 1986
- Rick Majerus coached Ball State for two seasons 1987-88 and 1988-89 - was named MAC Coach of the Year in 1989 after compiling a 29-3 record
