Reached the playoffs for the first time since 1991. Defeated Orlando in the first round (3-1) before getting swept by Indiana
Allen Iverson led the league in scoring (26.8), becoming the shortest player to accomplish that feat. Iverson only managed to shoot .412 from the floor and .291 from 3. Iverson's three-point shooting has dropped each of the past two seasons
Matt Geiger was second on the team in scoring and his 13.5 ppg average was nearly half that of Iverson's
Eric Snow had a breakthrough year, taking over the PG duties and leading the team in assists (6.3)
The Sixers were the league's worst three-point shooting team (.264) and Iverson was the only player on the team to make more than nine. Philly was the second-worst three-point shooting team a year ago (.300)
Went 16-9 vs. the Central but only 12-13 vs. the rest of the league
Rookie Larry Hughes had a solid season, playing in all 50 games and averaging 9.1 ppg
Rick Mahorn was signed late in the year to add some veteran leadership and muscle. He finished the year with more fouls (22) than points (13)
Went 10-1 when they scored 100+
