Senior Season

  • Never missed a game in his two years at Robert Morris
  • Named first team All-Northeast Conference
  • Led the NEC in scoring at 19.1 and was second in steals (2.7) and 24th in the nation in steals
  • Robert Morris was 33-24 in his two years at the school while going 12-42 in the two seasons prior to his arrival
  • Broke the 20-year old Colonial single-game scoring record with 38 points on March 4
  • Played at least 30 minutes in all but one game
  • Finished as the school's fourth all-time leading scorer with 1,328 points

  • Earl Cureton is the only Robert Morris player drafted by an NBA team (Philadelphia -- 3rd Rd, 1979), although he didn't graduate from RMU and was drafted out of Detroit University.
