Get into College
This lanky left-hander has an unorthodox game that makes him tough to handle. He's a great athlete with the ability to take most opponents off the dribble. He loves to slash to the hole and has the requisite tools -- quickness, ball handling, jumping ability, long arms -- to do it. Redd isn't afraid to put the ball in the air, and he can go get his misses; his 6.5 rebounds per game this season led the Buckeyes. Redd led OSU in scoring for three straight years and in 1997-98 became the first freshman in Big Ten history to lead the league in scoring. After only three years, he finished as Ohio State's fifth all-time leading scorer, with 1,879 points. The first-team All-Big Ten pick needs to work on his perimeter stroke (.315 from the 3-point line as a junior) to truly excel in the pros.
