Matt Gladieux
Position: Shooting Guard
College: Coastal Carolina
Conference: Big South
Height: 6'5"
Weight: 188
Age: 23
Birthdate: 11/17/76
High School: Rossford HS, Rossford, Ohio

There will be few better stories in the draft if Gladieux ends up being chosen. He had a great showing at the NBA's first pre-draft camp at Portsmouth and was also invited to play in the final camp in Chicago in June. Gladieux started his college career at Toledo and, after a coaching change, transferred to Bellarmine. Wanting another chance at Division I, he called Coastal Carolina, which was only too willing to take a chance on a player with one year of eligibility left. Gladieux paid his own way during a redshirt season, then averaged 16 points while playing all three perimeter spots as a senior. He's a good shooter who proved as much by making some huge baskets at Portsmouth.
