Collier has a big body, but ironically he plays better from the perimeter. He could use a transfusion of ill temper to make him more combative in the post, where he'll almost certainly have to do some work in the pros. Still, Collier could make a tidy living drawing opposing centers out on the perimeter, where he can shoot 3-pointers (a solid 37 percent as a senior) or pass to open teammates cutting to the basket. Last season, Collier averaged nearly a double-double (17.0 points, 9.2 rebounds) and also blocked 1.2 shots per game. Collier did make an effort to throw his weight around inside in his senior season -- his 3-point attempts dropped from 3.6 to 2.8 per game and his rebounding average increased by nearly two. A transfer from Indiana, where he played for a season and a half, Collier should be a mid first-round pick.
