Jones piled up some postseason honors, and his notoriety increased with each one. He was chosen West Coast Conference Player of the Year after averaging 16.5 points and 9.0 rebounds, blocking 40 shots and shooting .583 from the field. He was also the MVP of the NABC All-Star game at the Final Four. Jones rebounded well at the NBA's first tryout camp in Portsmouth, Va., and was also invited to the second camp, in Phoenix. Jones is a tough, physical player who also has decent outside touch and can run. Sounds like a pro.
