Hampered by foot problems, Voskuhl missed the NBA's Portsmouth, Va., tryout camp, which didn't help his cause. A healthy Voskuhl might just be a steady enough hand to hold down a backup job in the NBA for a few years. He set a UConn record for career starts, starting 135 of the 138 games in which he played. He finished as the school's No. 2 career blocked shots leader (193).
