Muoneke caught the attention of NBA scouts at the league's second tryout camp in Phoenix, where he finished ninth in scoring and assists. Muoneke is a physical player with good all-around skills, though his lot in life is the low-post. He shot only .211 from 3-point range as a senior, but .527 from the field. He scored 13.7 points and grabbed 6.3 rebounds a game as a fine complement to Texas All-American center Chris Mihm and was a second-team All-Big 12 pick.
