He's a blender, a winner and as tough as they come. That's why Mickeal stands an excellent chance of being on an NBA roster when the season opens next fall. Mickeal has a habit of making history wherever he goes. At Rock Island (Ill.) High School, he was the school's first-ever first-team All-State pick. At Indian Hills Community College, Mickeal led the team to a 76-1 record and two NJCAA championships. Mickeal is a tough inside scorer and a rugged rebounder, but if the going gets too tough inside, he can move outside with equal ability. He shot at a steady clip: .504 from the field, .350 from 3-point range and .723 from the free-throw line. Mickeal was an All-Conference USA first-team pick for the second straight year. He was the second-leading scorer and was chosen to the all-tournament team at the NBA's second tryout camp in Phoenix.
