"The Show" first burst upon the college basketball scene in the 1999 NCAA tournament, when he scored 36 points and led upstart Weber State to a first-round upset of mighty North Carolina. He followed that with 32 points in a narrow defeat to Florida in the second round. Arceneaux does his damage with great athleticism and a quick first step to the basket. He's a decent outside shooter (.369 from 3-point range as a senior) but could be more consistent. It also wouldn't hurt to improve his passing skills a bit. He averaged 23 points last season, 27.2 in Big Sky Conference games. Arceneaux shot 51 percent from the field and 80 percent from the free-throw line and grabbed 7.4 boards per game. He's a likely first-round pick.
