A.J. Granger

Allsport
Position: Small Forward
College: Michigan St.
Conference: Big Ten
Height: 6'9"
Weight: 230
Age: 22
Birthdate: 04/24/78
High School: Liberty-Benton, Findlay, Ohio

Granger might be 6-9, 230 pounds, but his game is on the perimeter, which he proved often during his career. He had a great night shooting when Michigan State defeated Florida in the NCAA tournament championship game, so good that he begged off attending the NBA's first tryout camp in Portsmouth, Va. Granger was invited to the league's second camp, at Phoenix, and promptly won the event's 3-point shooting contest. But he does more than shoot. He's a great leaper and finisher. He has good hands and is a good passer. But make no mistake, if Granger's drafted, it's because of his marksmanship. He made 45 percent of his 3-pointers as a senior.
