When the game is on the line, Karcher likes the ball in his hands. He isn't afraid to take the big shot, and Temple was only too willing to let him do it the past two years. In his junior season -- he was ineligible as a freshman -- Karcher led the Owls in scoring (15.8) and 3-pointers made (82). He led the team in scoring in 28 games. Karcher, who can score inside or out, was a first-team All-Atlantic 10 pick and was an A-10 All-Tournament selection as he helped lead Temple to its first league championship since 1990. He has the size to handle the beating he'll take in the pros.
