Robinson was the player who started the resurgence of Auburn's basketball program when he signed with the Tigers four years ago. His presence led other good players to the Plains. The best thing to say about Robinson is that he's steady. He's not flashy by any means, but he knows how to run a team and he doesn't make unforced errors. Not known as a great scorer, Robinson nevertheless averaged double figures as a senior (11.5 points). He doesn't have the greatest or most consistent jumper, but he never hesitates to pull the trigger at clutch time. He pulled out two early-season wins for the Tigers with big 3-pointers. Robinson had a good showing at the Portsmouth Invitational and is a probable second-round pick.
