NEW YORK (AP) -- New York Knicks forward Marcus Camby sprained his right knee in the second quarter of Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals against the Indiana Pacers Saturday and did not return.

An MRI revealed no ligament damage, and Camby is listed as day-to-day.

Camby was driving to the basket in front of Indiana's Austin Croshere with 8:49 left in the quarter when he slipped. His right leg slid out from underneath him.

Camby fell to the court and remained on his back for a minute before being helped up and taken to the locker room for observation by team physician Dr. Norman Scott.

Scott said Camby had a sprained medial capsule. Camby, who didn't put any weight on his right leg, had his knee iced before leaving for the hospital.

He had one rebound in five minutes before the injury.

The Knicks' frontcourt already was short-handed because of Patrick Ewing's foot injury, which sidelined him for the game. Ewing was injured in Thursday's Game 2.
