Dreadful drought
Blazers' dry spell allows Lakers to take Game 7
Leading 71-58 going into the fourth quarter, the Blazers had to feel good about their chances of completing an improbable 3-1 series comeback. Then they missed 13 consecutive shots, and the Lakers tied it at 75 with four minutes left in the game. It was downhill from there for Portland, as L.A. closed out the Western Conference series with an 89-84 victory to advance to the Finals.
